What is"Sideburns & Bangs"? * Previously "She is Sara"
"Sideburns & Bangs" is a personal blog about my adventures in fashion, writing, music, literature and overall life experiences, as well as some other random musings. I like to share my thoughts and ideas with my readers.
Why that name?
I wanted a blog that was going to be about my life and style. Kyle, my husband, is a major factor and influence for this blog. Our most prominent features are in the title, so there you go!
Why a lifestyle blog?
I wanted a place that was just for me. All the stresses in life, all the responsibilities as we get older, I wanted a place to track everything that made me feel good (hence all the Weezer posts). This blog has went from being a source for storing some writing, to sharing concert experiences, good and bad days, and personal style. At this point it is a melting pot of all of those things.
Pictures
Kyle takes most of my pictures, although I do take some of them on my own (and not very well). Sometimes I have a friend or one of my brothers take an outfit picture for me. My weapon of choice is my Canon Rebel T1i that I just acquired in 2010. I edit my photos in Windows photo editor or sometimes on flicker. Although I am in the process of installing Photoshop.
