Whenever I take my own outfit photos, I will post two, maybe three and leave it at that. If someone else takes them? I will post what appears to be a million. As you can see here, I chopped all of my hair off into a pixie-cut. I have wanted to for a very long time and now that the wedding is behind us, I figured why the hell not, it’s only hair. I had it cut the day prior to these photos, but it had rained all day and I didn’t get around to taking photos. I did whine about it on twitter however, and suckered Kyle’s brother Chris into taking some for me. We actually were on a mission to get coffee in Ferndale and to bum around the Rustbelt market (where I bought these awesome fish earrings), and Chris took photos for me behind the shops. This was the first time I had styled my new hair myself and it looks a little funny in the first few outfit photo posts you guys will see on here, but over the course of the week I figured it out.
You guys, cutting my hair off was very liberating! It has a style anywhere between the 60’s and the 90’s depending on how my bangs and the top hair want to behave. I have found a new love in giant earrings and headbands, you know, now that you can see my ears. My new hair also makes all of my clothes look new and different, and I think for once I am finally in a happy place with my wardrobe, and my hair. I have even been pretty consistent with taking outfit photos, and Kyle has been taking some very good ones lately (I think a few pointers from his brother helped, or he always had it in him and is just now showing off, boys).
