One of the very first dresses that I ever started documenting on this blog was this plaid number from Forever 21. I have worn this dress more times than I have taken outfit photos with, being a perfect dress for a hot summer day, and an easy piece to layer in the cooler months. I am not really sure how often I will be able to do remix posts because I can be a major slacker when it comes to actually taking outfit photos. However, the one aspect of posting outfits on the blog is figuring out how to be creative with the clothing I have. I can look at how I've worn an outfit in the past and wear it again somewhere. I love how much use I can get out of one item of clothing, when you are as broke as I am, you learn to appreciate items like this. I think sometimes people look at Kyle and I and assume because we both have jobs and no kids, that we must be wealthy. HAHAHAHA! Ah, nope! If anything, I am more skint now than I have ever been, I have all of my student loans to pay off, and a house twice that amount. Luckily we do not have any credit card debt, and our cars are old as dirt so we have a little wiggle room, but it really isn't much. We are also very lucky to have not gone into debt over the wedding (it still baffles me that people do), and we are going to try our hardest to save money to take a really awesome trip next spring.
So in the meantime, I may not be able to buy new clothes every week and post them up here, but I can promise to be as creative as I can with what I have.
