I literally took this picture, right outside my apartment, and this is how it came out; really bright! So I took another pic and played around with it in my photo editor and then..nothing. This is the best that I could do.
It really just looks like I am glowing, lol. Even Louie is glowing :) Anyways, the top was another thrifted one from Regeneration. It was $6, and the skirt was from Salvation army for $1.

My band of choice today is Shiny Toy Guns. I Lurve them. I discovered them from a friend of mine, Clare, back when I worked at Best Buy. I bought the CD "We are pilots" right away and memorized all of the songs because I played it so much. My friends Dan, and Meridith liked them too, and being as though Kyle had no choice, we all went down the Magic Stick in Detroit to see them play. They rocked the place, and they even came out to sign autographs and take pictures with everyone. That was about three years ago.

There music can be described as "Indie, rock, electronica." I can't tell you my favorite song because I love everyone one on "we are pilots". Carah Faye Charnow replaced original vocalist Ursula Vari – for the second album "Season of poison". This originally bummed me out entirely when I found out. I still have not bought "Season of poison" because it was out on the back-burn for so long. Recently, I have been listening to them from their myspace and lastfm.com and I have to say that I might be getting a copy of it now. Just in time for me to get psyched about an EP they are releasing this summer :)

I like how you knotted the front of your shirt. Have you ever tried picnik.com? It's a photo editing site and they have some features that are free. It's really cool since I'm not all that well versed in Photoshop.

I'm glad you now like the decemberists. They're a really genius band, but there is so much going in their songs/ so many songs that they can be hard to get into because you have no idea where to start. I always find a new song of theirs strikes me each month it seems. There will always be favorites but they definitely have the ability to grow on you!

I'd never heard of Shiny Toy Guns before, but it sounds like something I would have listened to in High school (Judging by the Ricochet vid). I'm more into mellow acoustic stuff now :) So excited for you though - I love when you don't buy a band's stuff and by the time you do they have something else coming out straight away :D
